Hanex Service is the authorized European repair center for all Universal Audio equipment, including the Apollo series and analogue products. Contact us for in-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs, as well as part deliveries.

Our clientele includes private individuals, retailers, studios, musicians, and Universal Audio itself. With our extensive knowledge and experience, we can quickly and reliably diagnose and repair your device at a reasonable price.

We possess all service documentation, updates, and modifications, ensuring your device returns in better condition than before. Our specialized tools enable us to replace or reprogram components, often eliminating the need for costly parts such as printed circuit boards.

Prompt Availability of Parts

We maintain a large inventory of common parts, ensuring short repair times.
If a part is unavailable, we have a vast selection of donor devices to help complete the repair.

 

Convenient Pickup Service

We collaborate with various shipping providers and can arrange for pickup of your defective device at your preferred address or drop-off point. You're also welcome to personally deliver your device to our Leimuiden location.

 

Transparent Quotations

For devices outside the warranty period, our technicians will provide a quotation if repair costs exceed a previously agreed limit. You can then decide whether to proceed with the repair. If you choose to have the device repaired by us or leave it unrepaired, the quotation is free. If you prefer to have the unrepaired device returned, a partial cost of €40 (excluding 21% VAT and shipping) will apply.

Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I submit my faulty audio equipment?

Submitting your repair is easy through our RMA portal. Register your device and select the option for pickup and delivery service. We will then arrange for UPS to collect your equipment from your location and bring it to our service center for further examination, accurate diagnosis, and a price quote. This way, you know exactly what to expect. If you decide to proceed with the repair after the examination, the examination fee of 35 euros will be waived.

 

What to include with the product?

  1. The defective product (with power supply, remote control, etc., if related to the complaint)
  2. A clear description of the issue
  3. For warranty repairs: proof of purchase

If you prefer, you can also bring the product to our service center yourself.

Can I also have an older device repaired?

Yes, our technicians are highly experienced in both digital and analog equipment. In addition to an extensive parts inventory of original components, we also have a large stock of disassembled devices, which often allows us to repair older equipment as well.

Is on-site repair possible?

Hanex provides on-site repair services for non-transportable equipment or fixed installations in the Netherlands. We also offer this service in other countries upon consultation. Please be aware that additional call-out charges may apply. If on-site repair is not feasible, we will transport (part of) the equipment to our workshop for repair.

What is the warranty on the repair?

 Hanex offers a standard 3-month warranty on the repaired issues. If the existing problem recurs or a new problem arises after this period, we will of course resolve it properly.

What if the repair turns out not to be worth it?

If you decide not to have the device repaired after examination, the investigation costs of €42,50 will be waived if you leave the device with us. If you want the device returned, we will charge the investigation costs and any shipping costs.

In most cases, repair turns out to be certainly interesting because our repairers repair at the component level. So we only replace that one defective part, not the entire mechanism or circuit board. And if repair turns out not to be worthwhile, we will work with you to find a solution.
