Dunlop repair and service
Hanex Service provides repair and service for Dunlop equipment. We support effects pedals, wah pedals, volume pedals, power supplies and other Dunlop electronics for musicians and backline use.
Jim Dunlop has been building gear for guitarists and bass players since 1965. Within its electronics range, the focus is on robust stage-ready products used intensively in rehearsal rooms, studios and live setups.

From our workshop in Leimuiden, we provide diagnostics, repair and technical service for Dunlop equipment. We support musicians, technicians, rental companies and dealers who want faults solved quickly and responsibly.
Dunlop is distributed in the Benelux by Algam Benelux. If your unit suffers from failure, noise, switching issues, faulty power supplies or mechanical wear, we are happy to assess the most suitable repair or service path.
Experience with pedals and stage electronics
With this type of equipment we regularly see faults in footswitches, potentiometers, jacks, PCB connections, power supplies and housing parts. Our technicians assess whether repair, refurbishment or targeted replacement is the best route for each unit.
Because pedals and floor units often go through heavy transport and intensive use, we also look at wear, mechanical stress and the overall reliability of the unit after repair.
Collection service
We work with several transport partners and can arrange collection of the defective unit from your preferred address and time window.
You are of course also welcome to bring your unit to our workshop in Leimuiden and hand it to us personally.
Estimate
If the unit is outside warranty, you will receive an estimate after inspection by our technicians when the costs exceed the agreed threshold. You can then decide whether you want the repair to go ahead. The estimate is free if you have the unit repaired by us or leave it with us unrepaired. If you want the unit returned unrepaired, we charge part of the costs incurred: EUR 42.50 excluding 21% VAT and shipping costs.

Submitting your repair is easy through our RMA portal. Register your device and select the option for pickup and delivery service. We will then arrange for UPS to collect your equipment from your location and bring it to our service center for further examination, accurate diagnosis, and a price quote. This way, you know exactly what to expect. If you decide to proceed with the repair after the examination, the examination fee of 35 euros will be waived.

- For warranty repairs: proof of purchase
If you prefer, you can also bring the product to our service center yourself.
Yes, our technicians are highly experienced in both digital and analog equipment. In addition to an extensive parts inventory of original components, we also have a large stock of disassembled devices, which often allows us to repair older equipment as well.

Hanex provides on-site repair services for non-transportable equipment or fixed installations in the Netherlands. We also offer this service in other countries upon consultation. Please be aware that additional call-out charges may apply. If on-site repair is not feasible, we will transport (part of) the equipment to our workshop for repair.
Hanex offers a standard 3-month warranty on the repaired issues. If the existing problem recurs or a new problem arises after this period, we will of course resolve it properly.
If you decide not to have the device repaired after examination, the investigation costs of €42,50 will be waived if you leave the device with us. If you want the device returned, we will charge the investigation costs and any shipping costs.

In most cases, repair turns out to be certainly interesting because our repairers repair at the component level. So we only replace that one defective part, not the entire mechanism or circuit board. And if repair turns out not to be worthwhile, we will work with you to find a solution.
Hanex repairs most audio brands out of warranty. In addition, we are the official service center for many renowned brands within the Netherlands, Benelux or Europe. You can bring both in- and out-of-warranty repairs to us for these brands.
